WHAT IS HERITAGE?
Where do u come from? What is you background? Something old. Can be something recent but has to be pu in the past. It can be unique. It can name where you come from.
*Heritage means anything that comes to us from the past. Our history is our heriatge and explains the way we live now. We keep reminders of our past to give ourselves an idea of where we come from. The Opera House reminds us of our European heriatge.
*Our heriatge can be something that has been written or painted, such as letters, newspapers, posters or books. It can be places, buildings or houshold objects. These are all reminders of our heritage.
WHAT DOES HERITAGE DO?
It tells us who we are and where we come from. Heritage gives us real links to our past, clear evidence of our origin and an understanding of what a unique thing it is to be Australian.
